VISION STATEMENT

I hereby declare my support for candidates who FULLY SUPPORT Goal 1 of the Future Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan which states "The City of Tamarac WILL provide land uses which will encourage the orderly growth of the community; maximize economic benefits; conserve and protect the natural environment; and minimize any threats to health, safety and welfare." By supporting Goal #1, I agree to the following:

- Orderly Growth: Overbuilding depreciates the equity of existing home values. I WILL Be Opposed to any rezoning for residential home building if the inventory of homes needed in the next 10 years is within the number of homes already approved by the City. As of 01 May 2010, the city has approved the construction of 2,641 new homes.

- Protect the Natural Environment. The only green space remaining in Tamarac for large quantity of homes are the rezoning of existing golf courses. These last remaining landmarks SHALL be preserved for future generations. The existing covenants SHALL be honored.
